2. Data we collect

Face data, TrueDepth camera and depth sensors

WeRetouche does not collect, use, store or share any face data. The app does not use the front TrueDepth camera, ARKit face tracking or Face ID. Some technical libraries built into the app (camera and augmented reality) contain code that can access these sensors, but WeRetouche never activates it.

The rear camera is used only to photograph properties. The rear LiDAR sensor (iPhone Pro and iPad Pro) is used only to measure rooms in order to produce a 2D floor plan: the scan covers walls, doors and windows, contains no data about people, and only the resulting floor plan is saved to the project in your account, under the conditions described in sections 4 to 7.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Your photos are not used to train AI models without your consent.

4. Recipients and processors

Your data may be processed by technical providers acting on our instructions: hosting and infrastructure (Google Cloud / Firebase, EU), image-processing and AI content-generation providers, and payment providers (Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe). They are bound by confidentiality and compliance commitments. We never sell your data.

5. Retention period

Your data is kept while you use your account, then deleted or anonymised within a reasonable time after closure, unless a legal retention obligation applies (billing in particular).

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Your data is hosted within the European Union. Any transfer outside the EU is governed by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise them: . You can also delete your account directly from the app. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (encrypted communications, restricted access, service keys kept server-side).

9. Cookies and trackers

The website uses no advertising cookies. It uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) solely to measure audience and improve the service. This tracker is enabled only after your explicit consent, given through the banner shown on your first visit: until you accept, no measurement cookie is stored. Your IP address is anonymised and the data is neither sold nor used for advertising. You may change your choice at any time by clearing site data in your browser. Cookies strictly necessary for operation (session, chosen language) do not require consent.

These terms are governed by French law. Consumers residing in the European Union retain the benefit of the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of their country of residence.
